I wish

                                                        I wish

                                           I was bit less hyperactive
And could bring an end to the attacks of its lethal claws
I wish I was not born impulsive
And could save myself from succumbing to my own flaws

                                                       I wish

                                     I could induce more optimism
                                    into this mentally harassed body
I wish people would welcome existentialism
Before this 'mind-fuck' degrades my body

                                                       I wish

                                          The skies were clear
and the societies had no barrier
I could enjoy the uncorrupted emotions
                                     of stargazing and pure lust

                                                      I wish

                                             I was a lone wolf
in a constant search of my better half
Far away in the icy alps
                                   Taking occasional afternoon laps

                                                     I wish

                                         I was a prairie wind
                                    and not the grassland itself
                                   blowing over uneven horizons
                                     pleasing the nature whores

                                                    I wish

                                       This individualistic me
Never bows down before any mighty 'she'
                            Whatsoever the threat she inflicts
I wish I could let her know
About the calmness before a blizzard strikes

Thank you for reading the doggerel :P

Go Pricks, get a life

A few days back, I had gone to a relative's place after a long time. They have two kids, quite adorable if you go by the face but more irritable if you go by their lifestyle. Yeah, 'lifestyle'. After some chit-chats with them, one of the kid asked me, whether I have an account in Facebook or not. I was astonished by their not-so-lame question. A 7 year old kid asking you about your Facebook account is quite astonishing. The kids were surrounded by numerous gadgets which I still don't have. At that time, I was feeling both jealous (every guy dreams of being surrounded by gadget) and pity on them. C'mon dude, get some life. And suddenly my mind raced back to my childhood where I had lived a real life. One of the moments, which I cherish the most and is still picturesque in my mind. The moment was something like this....

I was studying in standard 6 that time. I had gone to my native village during the vacations. Everyone used to say that I have inherited my father's qualities, silent and good-natured. Maybe they should have taken a better look at me after that incident. I was sitting on the terrace, enjoying the cool breeze which ruffled my hair. Some of my village mates came to the terrace to play with me. We decided to go to the nearby pond to catch some fishes. In the way, we saw a huge tree laden with juicy yellow mangoes. The tree was literally looking yellow rather than green, all credits to the mangoes. But unfortunately, that tree belonged to a man who would think twice before giving a penny to a beggar. Stealing from that tree was completely out of the league. But, we were kids, not grown-ups. The funnier side of it took the better side of us. After a lot of debate, we decided to steal the mangoes after the skies turned dark. The mission started after twilight, the leanest of us climbing the tree first. After that guy managed to do so, he gave a whistle which could wake up a sleeping Kumbhkaran. Fortunately no one came and one by one climbed the tree. I was hesitating at first as I came from a very respected family and the fear of getting caught was gripping me slowly. But true to my zodiac sign, I couldn't stop myself from the adventure. After climbing the tree, everyone of us took of our garments in which we would take our hard-stolen mangoes. One by one, we started plucking the juicy fruit and put them in our garment cum bag. After the bags became twice as heavy as us, we decided to leave the place as soon as possible. But getting down with heavy bags was not easy. The native children got down easily as they were master at climbing trees but unfortunately I was not. Slowly, I tried to come down but THUD! I fell down from a considerable height. The owner of the house came running before us like a mad dog and we started running like a gazelle from an approaching tiger. Leaping over vines, jumping over stones, we reached the boundaries. I had to deal with some of my mangoes in order to come out of it as going out with lot of fruits was not possible for a slowpoke like me. I dropped down some of my mangoes and ran out of a small hole. The next morning, the owner of the orchard, who was a good friend of my grand father had come to our house to discuss about the thieves. That feeling was epic, when he was narrating the whole story in front me while I was savoring the taste of the sweet mangoes which I had stolen. The sweeper threw the mango seeds and covering outside the house.

'The kids of this era, surely live lavishly
But I think, they possibly
Do not know the real fun
These gadgets and burgers
Are too shallow to measure the fun
we had in sharing stale buns and listening to an old transistor'

Oh my Love!

Walking in a desolated street, is no fun
The heart yearned to walk but the mind screamed to run
The mind got better of me and soon my legs became fast together
The scene afterwards I saw , was what I wanted to last forever

You were there, draped in a crimson hue
More beautiful than the morning dew
Your million dollar smile
Kept my mouth ajar for a while

Being with you is more cathartic than a roller-coaster
Babe, you are more precious than the pearl in an oyster
You are the one who inspires me to never fall
After all you are my wonderwall

Lo and behold! you were in my arms with your eyes meeting mine
Oh darling! They are more addictive than red wine
Your innocence makes you a vivacious damsel
Oh my love! getting back your love is harder than breaking a turtle's shell.

Unusual Chill...

What is this feeling of unusual chill
Or is it the feeling of being lonely
Bygone are the days when I used to laugh a lot
They wont return, 'coz I broke the knot

Became so informal that I crossed my limits
But it was never intentional
They should have known it dammit!

Obsessed with the spotlight
Marched out to fix everything right
But I should have known
It would never make me look bright

Always clapped for your rationality
But always got back humility
Unaware of the reason for your animosity
Now I know that it was for my lack of creativity.

Reminiscing about the past,
Is the only option left
My emotions were not your toys
You deprived me of all my joys.

Best Days of life... Beauty!

Here Here, I left you guys at Raipur station :P Hehe. So we were asked by the teachers to take care of the girls while riding up the train (smacking lips) as the train was scheduled to leave the station in only 10 minutes. We had to walk a long distance to catch our buggie and when we had just reached there, we found that our buggie was in the opposite direction and there was on 2 minutes left! WTF! We ran as fast as our legs would carry us and finally we were able to get into our buggie. When there is no alternative than running fast as much as you can, then I can run faster than Usain Bolt ;) As soon as we got our seats, we slept like pigs, dropping saliva drops on the seat. That night passed without any stomach aching laughter and without perverting (Since the three warriors were tired and sleepy). The next morning was disastrous and nasty for me. As soon I woke up, I went to the basin to brush my teeth and rather than coming back to my seat, I stood near the door to relinquish the chilly winds but... as I was looking outside, my head was also outside the door and a tree having some thorns which was planted by some miscreant to lower the popularity of DMS Bhubaneswar's sexy beast by scratching my sexy face so that I would get a dacoit's face :(  THUP! A packet of uttapam and sambher hit my face just at the moment when I was howling with pain :| After a lot of swearing to that dipshit who had thrown the packet, we arrived at the city of  lakes, Bhopal. We were greeted by our Headmaster who had already reached the city the day before via flight. We helped each other in carrying the mountain of luggage and boarded the bus which was destined to the hostels. We saw a variety of things on the road, auto rickshaws which had more design on them than Lady GaGa's dress, people eating golgappa at morning and the most astonishing thing was that the number of scooters were more than number of motorcycles which is a rare scene in most of the cities. Scooters of every kind were there, broken scooters, naked scooters, colorless scooters, brand new scooters and scooters having some ass-kicking quotes. Soon the bus reached the hostel and we got our respective rooms. As soon as we got our rooms, there was a nasty fight over a more nasty issue, Who will relieve himself first ? :P After an hour or so, we went to the mess to fulfill the demands of our greedy stomachs. Soon, all the teams started arriving and some of our group members who were inspired by Barney's game (c'mon you know Barney, don't you?), Have you met Akash :| They kept me busy with the boring guys and themselves went for the hunt of Bhopal hotties. Damn them! If you have friends like them, you don't need an enemy :P Then came the lovely evening of Bhopal when we were asked to dress up in our Tracksuit for the photo session and Panel Discussion. The Panel discussion was awesome, thanks to our valuable team member Soumya Ratna, who was praised by everyone for her versatility and fluency. After the photo session, my close friend Shekhar had came to visit us who was living in the campus. He showed us really awesome and beautiful scenery  of the peaceful and cool campus. The campus was situated on a hill called Shyamala Hills from which the the beauty of the lake and the beautiful city of Bhopal whose beauty was doubled due to the lights can be enjoyed. The evening passed away with nonsense talks and countless pouches of Appy Fizz (we spent almost 5000 rupees only on Appy Fizz). After the dinner, we got our timetable of events and started discussing about the basketball match, which we had the next day against the five years consecutive winners, DMS Bhopal. Our seniors had warned us that their players were like the Greek monster Hydra, if you manage to check or injure one of their player, another player shows up who is more agile and more tactful. What was written in our fate? Were we going to lose miserably again to them ?...

To be continued...

Boredom

Last week, I was lying on my messy bed, staring at the slowly rotating fan. It was quite unusual of me. I was reminiscing about the Volleyball cluster meet and was lost in my own strategies how we could have won the match. My room was a mess and in 5 minutes I was asked to tidy it up (My mother was shouting for last 1 month to clean it up). I decided its time for me to do the job, I was annoyed by her regular snubbing. I took my time and finally was able to clean it up in 2 hours. But something inside me was not normal. Was it a minor ailment ? Or was it something which was never going to be alright if I would just leave it like that ? It was 2 weeks since I had reached home. The excitement, the spark of my life was missing and the feeling was something unexplainable. I had to manage my missed classes and studies since I was off to a trip and it was worse than the regular routine of a nerd who has taken science stream. Who in the world cares if moment of Inertia of a body is less or more ? Why would anyone give a damn to find out momentum of  an electron ? Why would anyone give a shit how 5 people can be arranged in a circular table ? The pressure of studies was taking its toll and it was adding more boredom to my already bored life.

Boredom is something which everyone of us has felt in his/her lifetime and it becomes an inevitable part of a teenager's life in his/her teens. Moreover if you are an introvert (like me) then boredom kills you, literally. I don't have any siblings, so I can't have fun with anyone at home. The novels kept on my table have been replaced by thick physics books and my damn PC do not support any game. Plus my best friend, Soumya Ratna was ill, so I was unable to contact her and all my online friends have gone into hibernation perhaps, more notably Mohit Sharma. To add more boredom to my life, the school teachers are not missing a single class and bunking the classes is like crossing Indo-Pak border. If you are caught, you are gone. The spark, the excitement before the trip was like heaven and life becomes hell when your mind start reminiscing about the fun, late night chats, community bathing, about which you are aware of that they will never come back again, with the same people. I don't care if you people like this post or not because this post was written out of absolute boredom. When serenity turns into loneliness, then everything seems to be rotting away, just like the feeling when Dementors start sucking your soul away.

Thank you for reading :)
